Technology is the mother of productivity… only if you know how to use it right. Specially when it comes to social media marketing.
In thought leadership, marketers need to be ahead of the game at all times. As your business grows, your focus needs to be on productivity; especially if you’re getting paid by contract and not by the hour.
It’s impressive how many things we can do from our smartphones. More shocking is the digital assets that you can produce!
You will be surprised that your ninja secret costs less than your cup of coffee! Let me share with you my best digital marketing apps for 2017!
What Are The Best Digital Marketing Apps for 2017
Imagine getting daily ideas for blog posts, Instagram shareables, Facebook Ads banners, flyers, etc… Over is your app!
You get daily ideas and all of them can be hacked in just seconds. I love that their image library is very robust. You can pick from google, stock websites, your mobile, or even surf the web without leaving the app. They have a separate library for vectors and icons that you can pick or simply replace their template!
2) Spark Video
Adobe hit the spot with Spark video! I can create amazing mini videos for social media from my bed! I really like the voice over option. I have done explainer videos using my own voice and they look very professional.
3) Perfect 365
Let’s say that you are rushing out of the door and didn’t have time to do your makeup to look picture perfect. Well… what if I tell you that you can get a virtual makeup? I know what you’re thinking … trust me! I have put virtual makeup to retouch my client’s pictures and they simply love it!
I like their option to save looks so you don’t have to start from scratch. Once you find the look that you like, you save it and literally you can duplicate the same makeup to your pictures. Don’t go too overboard here, but this one is a ninja!
Imagine having your conversations all organized in files but in the cloud. For example: you are working with your freelancers on a website. Slack allows you to create channels to label the topics for quick access. I like the @tag option because when a team member calls my name, I get a notification. It’s much better than a regular chat.
You want to stand out in the news feeds. Boomerang is your app! Create fun 5 seconds videos and share them to get more attention. Videos can be shared to multiple social media platforms which makes your life easier!
6) Facebook Ads
Let’s say that you’re running a campaign and want to monitor your performance. Or your client has a question and you get to grab your cellphone and snap a pic! I honestly can’t live without this app! I love that I can monitor, edit copy, and manage the budget, even from the beach!
We have a free 5-Day Summit that will literally walk you through all you need to know about Facebook Ads. Click on the image below to sign up for free.
Relationship marketing is one of the most effective strategies but it is also time consuming. In a perfect world, our agenda is packed with networking events so we can expand our circle. Reality is much different. If you want to develop relationships in your local community, Alignable is your tool! Register your business, meet local business owners and start a referral campaign. All for free! Their mobile app is very user friendly and allows you to promote events, webinars, workshops, promotions, and everything in between.
8) Group text
Nothing bothers people more than being added on a group chat. You don’t want to do that. However, you want to have the opportunity to broadcast quick text messages to your audience. As a marketer, Group text will be your best app. It allows you to create lists and broadcast text messages to your groups. I have my VIP clients on a list and that’s how I can spread a text in just seconds.
Zoom is more than video calls. This amazing app allows you to run video conferences anywhere. The mobile app has advanced capabilities like screen sharing, cloud recording, host and moderator panel to mute participants, and chat. If you upgrade to their webinar platform, Zoom allows you to broadcast to Facebook live and YouTube.
Have you ever come across a particular post or snippet of content online and you were interrupted before you could fully engage with it? Maybe you didn’t get to finish the article you were reading. Or maybe you saw an Instagram post that you thought your friend would find interesting. Pocket allows you to bookmark media content on the go, and metaphorically slide it into your pocket for later perusal. It is compatible with IOS, Android, Kobo and any web browser.
